The goal of the day is simple: enjoy good company, honor E.R.’s memory, and keep the tradition of safe, respectful hunting alive.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a returning shooter, come prepared for a great day in the field:
Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge recommended)
Ammunition (#5 or #6 shot only)I would say #4’s through 6’s
Blaze orange hat or vest
Eye and ear protection
Weather-appropriate clothing and boots
Cooler for birds after the shoot
A good appetite — and your best story for lunch at Tall Cotton
If you can’t attend, you can still make a difference. All funds raised through the memorial shoot go directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children, providing vital medical care and support for kids and families in need.
Every gift honors E.R.’s lifelong belief that when you’ve been blessed, you share those blessings with others.
